Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actor and comedian. She is most notable for her tenure as a cast participant on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. She has since starred in the sitcoms ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying at Northwestern University when she began her acting career. She first studied as majoring in voice, but then moved to theater studies following her participation in the college's improv group. The same energy was carried to her roles in supporting roles such as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character on Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the eccentric agent in Lady Dynamite.
